Alix Mendoza is a Chicana San Diego native. Writer, Event Coordinator, and Business Owner based in Los Angeles. She is a film and television production professional of 8 years, telling stories of the Mexican American experience.
Alix is also the founder of two businesses: Connection Club SD & Semisweet Studios. Connection Club SD is an event & experience company focused on building community through love, friendship, & networking.
Semisweet Studios a multi-media company dedicated to telling the sour truth dipped in honey. She has several projects in development including her debut magazine, “Sexy on Tuesdays” which released in fall of 2024.
Semisweet Studios platforms artists of color believing the investment of our vibrant stories will enrich the lives of all. Semisweet is in development to produce independent features in the fall of 2025 with Alix as executive producer.
